How does a Cavity Drain Membrane system work?
A Cavity Drain Membrane system is designed to allow moisture in, behind the membrane, so it can be diverted and discharged to where we want it to go, unlike Structural Water proofing (Tanking) which blocks the incoming moisture. The system can then be dry lined or plastered directly onto, although this needs to be decided, prior to commencement of the installation. If there is no natural drainage, then we will install a sump chamber and pump.
