Tapco HomeDry are carrying out many damp proofing, water damage and timber decay surveys, together with restoration and preservation treatment contracts, to residential and commercial properties throughout Oxfordshire. Our fully qualified and experienced timber and damp surveyors and technicians are ideally situated in Surrey, close to the M25 and M40 to get them into Oxfordshire in no time at all. We are often asked by one of our very good client, who is based in Farringdon, SN7, to carry out damp, timber, water damage, roof, drain and wall tie surveys all over Oxfordshire, so we know it very well.
Following the severe flooding across the whole county in July 2007 Tapco HomeDry were called upon and in much demand to assess the damage to clients properties and advise them on what immediate measures were required to start the cleaning and drying process, to enable them to return to their home as soon as possible, prior to the extensive restoration work being carried out. Being a professional, specialist water damage restoration company that has been established for over four decades we could be trusted by clients, loss adjusters and insurance companies to carry out a thorough survey and provide the correct recommendations, not only to repair the damage but to ensure there would be no secondary problems with dry rot or shrinkage problems.
Our surveyors and fully trained operatives are on hand to carry out surveys for all types of damp and timber decay whether you already have a problem or you have been instructed by your structural surveyor or lender, Tapco HomeDry are in your area to deal with it.
First our qualified timber and damp surveyor will do a thorough survey by exposing as many timbers as is practical and taking moisture readings with an electronic damp meter. We will then send you our detailed and comprehensive report enclosing images and a floor plan explaining exactly what the problems are and what is required to rectify them. Once you instruct us to carry out the work we send our very experienced and trained operatives, who will keep you informed on their progress at all times, whilst always taking your needs into consideration.
We carry out all of our work in accordance with the Property Care Association (PCA) strict code of practice and guarantee it for a 20 year period which can be insured by Guarantee Protection Insurance (GPI).
